Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had outside of Italy. The Americano was smooth and aromatic, think the most luxurious aroma and taste coffee can offer. I loved it so much I went back and bought 1kg of the beans to take back to Vancouver!"
"I had such a great experience at % Arabica in Eaton Centre, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Mayu, one of their baristas. She is incredibly skilled, attentive, and genuinely passionate about coffee. My drink was perfectly made and beautifully presented. On top of that, she was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. She truly elevates this location!"
"Grabbed a Spanish latte here. It was a bit flat but that's mostly because I'm used to strong flavored coffees. I also wished they had an option for sweeteners, but instead I just grabbed one of their sugar cubes. They have some really cute merchandise to buy, including shot glass to tell you how much milk to put in each drink, and a cute cappuccino tumbler. I was impressed with the design that was on my latte. It was not your typical cookie cutter design that every coffee shop in the city does. I was super impressed by the detail. I'm looking forward to trying the ice cream here the next time."
"I love Arabica and I like this new location but it can get busy and you gotta wait in line but it’s okay for me unless I’m in a hurry. One of my favourite drinks there is the dark latte but last time it wasn’t as sweet as it’s supposed to be or like i tried it before. Still a very good coffee though and I always recommend Arabica!"
"My new favorite coffee spot in Toronto! The espresso here is insanely clean—perfect balance of acidity and bitterness. The maple latte is so Canadian and absolutely delicious Super minimalist interior that’s super photogenic—perfect break while shopping at Eaton Centre. I’ll be back for sure!"
"Really good coffee! My favorite is Kyoto Latte, it’s a little bit darker than the regular latte, so you can enjoy the rich coffee flavor. Spanish latte is also very good, it’s much lighter, and sweeter. The service is welcoming."
"Updated: They really improved a lot since my last review. The latte art is back, and the barista is clearly very experienced. I feel that my feedback was heard, and the overall quality has gotten much better. I’m happy to update my review to reflect the positive changes. ———- I’ve always been a big fan of % Arabica, even in Japan and Hong Kong. Now that I’m in Toronto, I’ve been visiting this location almost every day for the past year. I don’t mind spending around $10 per coffee because Arabica has always stood out from other cafés ( perfect foam, perfect latte art) , and consistently great quality. However, I have to be honest: recently, the drinks haven’t been up to the usual standard. The foam is inconsistent, and the latte art often looks rushed or poorly done. It seems like some of the newer baristas may still be lacking experience, and the quality no longer reflects what I expect from % Arabica. At this point, I might as well go to Starbucks. I hope management can provide proper training to new baristas so the quality can return to the high standard that makes % Arabica special. I truly want to enjoy the coffee here the way I used to."
"Stopped by for a coffee and was really impressed by the quality—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. You can tell they take their beans seriously. The only downside was the lack of syrup options for those who like to customize their drinks a bit more. Still, if you’re a true coffee lover who enjoys a clean, well-balanced cup, this spot is definitely worth a visit!"
